FAQ

what do you need to paint my building?
When you place your order, I’ll need the following:
1. Building Address: I’ll use this to locate reference images from Google Maps or recent real estate photos. Please confirm that the photos show the building as it currently looks (e.g., no recent repainting or renovations).
2. Photos: If Google Maps or real estate images aren’t available or up-to-date, you can provide your own photos. Phone pictures work perfectly as long as they meet these criteria:
• Clear and in focus: Avoid blurry or overly dark images.
• Straight front-facing angle: This is essential for my icon-style portraits.
• Additional angles: If anything obstructs the view (like trees or cars), take extra pictures from slightly different perspectives.

can you make adjustments?
Yes! I just need clear direction. So send me old photos to show me how the building used to look, or tell me what colour you want me to change your roof to. Is that plant in the front a lemon tree? Tell me so I can throw in a splash of yellow!
-
Do you paint other things?
If it’s a building, then yes! I’ve done houses, apartments, hotels, restaurants, shops, churches, workplaces and wedding venues. Once I even did a floating fish ‘n’ chip punt.
If it’s a person or pet, then sorry but the answer is no! My pen is great for facades but not so great for fur.

What's the lead time?
Generally 4 weeks. If you’re on a tighter timeframe let me know - sometimes I can make some magic happen!
-
What size?
I create home portraits in two sizes:
• A5: Perfect for a 5×7 frame, this smaller size is ideal for cozy spaces or gifting.
• A4: A larger size that makes a bold statement. A4 frames are widely available, making it easy to showcase your portrait.
-
how is my portrait packaged and delivered?
My portraits are packaged in a clear plastic sleeve with hard cardboard so they stay dry and don’t bend. I use Australia Post who are generally quite good! If your order is lost or damaged, let me know and we will sort it out.
